What Do We Expect from Our New Team Member?

• Planning, designing, supervising, and optimizing underground drilling and blasting activities in line with mining plans and site-specific geological and geotechnical conditions.
• Analyzing face drilling patterns, drilling performance, and blasting results to improve excavation efficiency, achieve the desired fragmentation quality, and continuously enhance operational performance.
• Determining, developing, and revising, when necessary, explosive types, charge designs, initiation systems, and blasting parameters suitable for rock characteristics.
• Conducting technical and economic evaluations of drilling and blasting activities and identifying innovative technologies and equipment to develop solutions suitable for mining operations.
• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety, environmental, quality, energy management, and compliance systems; reporting non-conformities and following up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Acting in accordance with company values, corporate reputation, and management systems while supporting their effective implementation.
• Developing and implementing practices aimed at minimizing dilution and ore loss.
• Ensuring that drilling and blasting activities related to ventilation raises and other special excavation works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with planned criteria.
• Collecting and analyzing drilling and blasting data, monitoring KPIs, and preparing regular technical reports.
• Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting drilling costs per meter, blasting costs per ton, and related performance indicators.
• Contributing to annual budgeting activities through technical data, cost forecasts, and performance analyses.
• Actively participating in continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, and system development initiatives while ensuring implementation of required actions.
• Collaborating closely with mine planning, geology, production, maintenance, and other relevant departments to ensure drilling and blasting activities support operational objectives.
• Providing technical guidance and training to drill operators, blasters, and field personnel while ensuring compliance with established standards.
• Ensuring that the use, storage, and initiation of explosives comply with legal regulations, company procedures, management systems, and relevant standards.

What Kind of Team Member Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of underground mining experience.
• Preferably experienced in AutoCAD.
• Proficient in Power BI and similar reporting tools.
• Familiar with mine planning software such as Datamine, Micromine, Deswik, and Surpac.
• Excellent command of English.
