We are seeking an Internal Audit Senior Specialist (Special Investigations) to be appointed within the Inspection Board Presidency of Eczacıbaşı Holding, which reports directly to the Chairman of the Board.
The vision of the Inspection Board Presidency is to create value by providing objective and innovative assurance and advisory services. Our audit team conducts internal audit activities across all Group companies, carries out investigations related to special reviews, and addresses opportunities to make our operations more efficient and secure.
The new team member will join the Special Investigations Team, be responsible for all Group companies both domestically and internationally and will be based at the Holding headquarters (Kanyon office building).
What do we expect from our new teammate?
- Manage special investigations and inquiries related to violations of Group policies and legal regulations (human resources / fraud-related) and maintain close coordination with Legal and Human Resources teams.
- Clearly identify root causes of non-compliance in special investigations, uncover financial and other evidence, provide recommendations to improve internal control processes, and support the development of corrective action plans.
- Adequately documented investigations conducted for special investigation findings with supporting evidence.
- Prepare in-depth reports on special investigation findings and follow up on action items.
- Prepare periodic presentations related to risk assessments and ongoing investigations.
- Deliver training to create ethical awareness within Group companies.
- Take part in compliance audits conducted through external audit firms via outsourcing, co-sourcing, or turnkey engagement models.
- Ensure audits and projects are completed within agreed timelines.
- Participate in ethics and code of conduct awareness activities.
- Interact directly with senior executives of Group companies.
- Participating in internal audit, fraud, internal control, risk management, and governance training as part of continuous professional development.
- Provide training to the audit team and group senior management on new developments in fraud and ethics.
What kind of team member are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree from universities in Economics, Econometrics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Law, Sociology, Psychology, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in fraud investigations or human resources, gained at large audit firms, inspection boards, or large-scale organizations.
- Strong determination to successfully complete comprehensive and complex investigations.
- Effective negotiation skills with the ability to manage stress.
- Team-oriented, responsible, proactive, and able to take initiative.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- No restrictions on travel.
- Residing in Istanbul
