What do we expect from our new team member? 

  • Ensure that preventive and corrective maintenance activities for plant facilities, machinery, vehicles, buildings, and electrical panels are carried out regularly and effectively.
  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of scheduled maintenance activities across assigned facilities, and manage both planned and unplanned maintenance work within the approved departmental budget.
  • Develop and implement innovative maintenance and repair strategies, procedures, and methodologies together with the maintenance team; manage workforce and material planning for the commissioning of new facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure that all machinery and equipment within the assigned facilities operate efficiently and reliably in line with production targets.Manage the cost-effective procurement of spare parts and maintenance requirements, and lead in-plant equipment modification projects.
  • Research and recommend new equipment required for maintenance and repair services; coordinate workforce and material planning for new facility and equipment commissioning activities.
  • Drive the identification and implementation of cost-efficient alternatives for spare parts and repair services by collaborating with internal stakeholders and relevant departments.
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance and procurement budget, ensuring expenditure and purchasing requests comply with approved budgets; analyze historical cost data to develop future budgets and present recommendations to senior management.
  • Monitor technological advancements and ensure the implementation of improvements that enhance operational efficiency.Conduct analysis and reporting activities related to mechanical and electrical maintenance management.
  • Lead and manage the maintenance team while working in close coordination with other departments and supporting cross-functional projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex production issues through root cause analysis and monitor KPI performance targets.
  • Lead production efficiency and optimization initiatives to improve operational performance.Ensure the effective implementation and management of all health, safety, and environmental procedures across site operations.
  • Develop continuous improvement initiatives, action plans, and process audits to enhance operational excellence.

 

What kind of teammate are we looking for?

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum of 8 years of experience in maintenance and repair activities within the Cement or Metallic Mining industries.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in SAP HANA (S/4HANA).
  • Hands-on experience in maintenance processes involving rotary kilns and raw mill systems, or cone crushers, jaw crushers, conveyor belts, steel belts, and related process equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with active driving experience.Military service completed (for male candidates).No restrictions on travel.
  • Experience in KPI management.Strong sense of ownership and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent follow-up, execution, and result-oriented work management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capabilities.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Residing in Konya or willing to relocate to Konya.
